Coincidentally, my roommate had a tub of vegan cream cheese that she wanted to use. And she happened to decide on a cheesecake for the potluck also. Is there such thing as too much cheesecake? No, of course not! Let's make both! So I made the VPITS Pumpkin Cheesecake and she made the Double-Layer Pumpkin Cheesecake from FatFree Vegan Kitchen.

Both pies were excellent. The FFVK one makes a thicker, more dense cheesecake and the VPITS one makes a lighter, softer cheesecake (or at least this is how mine came out). I'm so excited to make more recipes from Vegan Pie in the Sky!

ReplyDeletePies were delish I can vouch. Sitting next to them for about 20 minutes was also a good way to guarantee that you'll eat too many slices.
